GIVEAWAY COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

Please read the Terms and Conditions below prior to entering our giveaway competition. 

 

1. By entering this giveaway competition, you are indicating your acceptance of these terms and conditions and your agreement to be bound by these.

 

1. The promoter is Bad Rabbit Security Limited, a company incorporated and existing under the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, with registration number ΗΕ 384091, whose office is located in Nicosia, Cyprus (referred to as “we”, “us”, “our”, “ours”, “ourselves”, “the Company” or “BRS”).

 

1. The competition is open to all persons aged 18 years or over, irrespective of their country of residence. Employees, officers or agents of BRS and/or their family members and close relatives or anyone otherwise connected in any way with BRS and/or the competition or helping to set up or judging the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.

 

1. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

 

1. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via our Facebook page.

 

1. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:

 

• You create a “Company Motto” that is suitable to the Company and the services it provides (please refer to the Company’s page for information on the Company’s services: https://www.badrabbitsecurity.com/services), and you post this Company Motto (referred to as the “Company Motto” or “Motto”) as a comment to the Company’s Facebook post.

 

• Only comments on the original post will be included in the competition.

 

• Only one comment/Motto will be accepted per person. Multiple comments/Mottos from the same person will be disqualified and only the first comment/Motto will be taken into account when choosing the winner.

 

• Use of obscene, abusive, racist, slanderous or any other offensive or harmful language is strictly forbidden and will not be tolerated, and should any comment/Motto contain such language, such comments/Mottos shall be immediately deleted by the Company and the entrants posting such comments/Mottos will be blocked and reported.

 

• You understand that by entering into this competition, you waive all rights you may have in the Company Motto, should this be the winning motto, and the Company shall be the owner of all rights to the winning Motto. The winning Motto shall, therefore, be the property of the Company and will be used by the Company at its own discretion, including but not limited to marketing materials of the Company, email signature lines, its website(s) or any other materials.

 

1. The competition shall open for entries/comments at the time the competition post is uploaded on Facebook. Closing date for entry into the competition and posting a Company Motto will be seven (7) calendar days after the competition post is uploaded on Facebook.

 

1. Any entries/comments received before the opening or after the closing of the competition will be invalid and will not be entered into the competition.

 

1. No responsibility can be accepted for entries/comments not received for whatever reason.

 

1. After the closing date, we shall review all Company Mottos posted and shall choose at our own discretion only one winning Company Motto that is considered most suitable to us within fourteen (14) calendar days of the closing date. There shall be no other criteria for choosing the winning Company Motto and no explanation or reason shall be provided for choosing the winning Motto.

 

1. The results of the competition and the winner will be announced on Facebook within fourteen (14) calendar days of the closing date of the competition. The announcement may include the name of the winner and a reference to his/her Facebook account; no other details of the winner shall be disclosed publicly.

 

1. The winner will be notified through a direct message via Facebook letting him/her know of his/her win and asking for delivery address details (his/her full name, address and phone number) for the delivery of the Prize. If the winner fails to respond to our notification attempts or provide an address for delivery of the Prize within fourteen (14) calendar days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw and not send the Prize to the winner, without this affecting the rights to the winning Company Motto that shall remain with the Company.

 

1. The winner shall receive a T-shirt with the Company’s logo on it (the “Prize”). The Prize cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash.

 

1. The Company’s decision in respect of all matters relevant to the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

1. The Company is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

 

1. The Company reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside the Company’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Company.

 

In such case, the rights of any and all Mottos posted under the Facebook post shall remain the property of each entrant and the Company shall have no rights to use such Mottos unless it obtains the written consent from the relevant entrant.

 

1. Harassment in any manner or form on the post, the Company and any of the other entrants, including via comments on the Company’s competition post or any social network page of the Company, comments on the Facebook page of an entrant, e-mail, chat, direct message, or by use of obscene or abusive language, is strictly forbidden. Impersonation of others, including BRS, or any employee, officer or agent of BRS is prohibited. You may not upload to, distribute, or otherwise publish through the Company’s Facebook page or competition post or any other social network page of the Company, any content which is libelous, defamatory, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal, or otherwise objectionable which may constitute or encourage a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party or which may otherwise give rise to liability or violate any law. You may not upload commercial content on the Company’s Facebook page, competition post or any other social network page of the Company or use those to solicit others to join or become members of any other commercial online service or other organization.

 

1. The giveaway competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Cyprus.

 

1. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants that may need to be collected for the purposes of this competition will be used solely in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”), as amended and replaced from time to time, the e-privacy Directive 2002/58/EC as amended and replaced by the Directive 2009/136/EC, as amended and replaced from time to time, their implementing legislations and the Cyprus Law on Data Protection, as amended and replaced from time to time (collectively referred to as the “Data Protection Laws”), and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

 

1. This giveaway competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or any other social network. You are providing your information to BRS and not to any other party. Any information that may be collected as part of the competition will be used in conjunction with the Data Protection Laws and our Privacy Policy
